2016 John A. Meyer, CEO of Arise, Wins Bronze Stevie International Business Award
(MIRAMAR, FL) – August 24, 2016 – Arise Virtual Solutions CEO John A. Meyer was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Executive of the Year -- Business Services category in The 13th Annual International Business Awards (IBA) today.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2016 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Rome, Italy on 21 October.
A record total of more than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Arise is proud that its CEO was nominated under the category of Leading the Shared Economy in the Contact Center Industry, and thrilled about the Bronze win.

Meyer joined Arise in 2011 to drive the organization’s growth, set its strategic vision, and lead global operations. He has over 28 years of leadership experience with large publicly traded organizations, and is known for building high growth organizations in both the United States and Europe. Before entering the corporate world, Meyer served as a flight commander and a Captain in the United States Air Force. He holds a MBA from the University of Missouri and a BS in Management from Pennsylvania State University.
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August.
