Smooth Transition from Corporate America to Arise:

Seeing my old friends from my previous career as a banker reminds me of the way I used to be: tired, worn-out and desperately in need of a vacation. After 17 years in the field, I knew I was ready for a change. I was bored, tired of office politics and bad traffic, and most of all I was ready to take on new challenges. So when my husband and I relocated to Texas last year for his job, I relished the opportunity to start fresh in a new career.

I especially liked the idea that I could become certified for multiple clients and switch between them, never having to do the same thing two days in a row. Since my husband also has a flexible schedule, we can get lunch together, go shopping or take day trips. If he is relocated again, I can take my business with me practically anywhere in the U.S. I am thrilled with the opportunity to learn something new and work on my own terms.

Client Biography Headquartered in Miami, this company owns the world's largest cruise fleet based on guests carried. This fleet consists of 62 ships operating in the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Hawaii, New England, Panama Canal, Bermuda, Canada, Europe, South Pacific, and the Mediterranean. The cruise segment, which makes up the majority of sales within the corporation, includes a total of 64 ships.
Your Role

You will be involved in strong sales interactions:

  • Exercise excellent verbal communication skills and excellent phone etiquette (clear, crisp speech.)
  • Show excellent judgment and decision making skills
  • Have good typing, PC skills and math skills
  • Display good listening skills
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Communicate in a creative, persuasive style
  • Display enthusiasm and a strong goal-oriented work ethic
  • Ask probing questions and overcome objections
  • Sell add-on Vacation Protection Plans
Potential Earnings $9.50-$12 an hour based on productivity and performance
Minimum Hours 10 Hours minimum Per Week, plus only 5 hours required on Saturday and/or Sunday
Equipment Needed PC with Windows 7, Windows XP , or Windows 2000 Professional O/S. (Application not compatible with Mac computers or Vista OS)
