In 2004 I was a single mother working two jobs while attending college. I had two young daughters that I wasn’t spending nearly enough time with. I wanted to make a better life financially for them but realized that I was missing out on so many special moments and that they’d be all grown up before I knew it.
I spoke to someone who was working from home and servicing Arise and she encouraged me to give it a try. Within a month I was able to quit one of my jobs. After a couple of years I realized that I was earning enough to quit my other job. Most importantly, the flexibility to schedule my own hours allowed me the opportunity to spend much more time with my girls. I would schedule my hours while they were in school and after they were in bed.
One day I met someone at a local laundromat who was looking for work – that was the first person I brought in under my business. I then decided to focus on growing my company. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Today I am privileged to have over 300 Client Support Professionals in my company. Our focus on quality has helped make my company one of the most successful Independent Businesses in the history of Arise.
In 2011 Open Door MultiServices, LLC became the first Independent Business within the Arise Network to hit the $1,000,000 revenue mark!
In 2012 I won the Miami Chamber of Commerce Award for the top minority-owned business and the Business Enterprise Award.
To date I have helped literally thousands of IBOs and CSPs go through the process both in the U.S. and Canada.
I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish. I tell anyone who asks that Arise provides a great business opportunity. You will find some positives and some negatives and it’s up to everyone to do their research. It’s possible to be successful and create your own lifestyle, just as long as you understand that what you put in is what you get out.

In early 2008 I was making a very good income editing videos and decided to drop out of college to pursue video editing full-time. When the recession hit in late 2008, I lost all my clients and found myself without an income – and without a degree.
I was born and raised in Arizona and I didn’t want to leave - but I couldn’t find any work. I soon realized that in order to make a decent income, I needed my college degree. But how was I supposed to complete my degree and make money? Arise was my answer. In early 2009, a friend of mine started his own company and joined the Arise network. He encouraged me to start working for him.
I started as a Client Support Professional and within a year, I had saved up enough money to start my own Independent Business AND go back to college. Working from home had allowed me to save money on items like gas and eating out. The flexibility also helped me balance my work with my school and social life.
I am not really interested in bringing too many CSPs under my business but I have helped many fellow students start their own businesses. This opportunity has changed my life so much that I want to help others realize their dreams too, even if I don’t profit financially from them.
I credit Arise with making it possible for me to go back to school and for giving me the confidence to see that I can be successful. As a business owner, I am also using the skills I have gained in school to help my business thrive. How many college students can say that they already own their own business? It’s a win-win!
